Featuring Ensemble Companio’s favorite repertoire from the past fifteen years, Long Time Trav’ling speaks to the constancy of change, of kinship that transcends distance, and of loving commitment to possibility—and to each other—against all odds. Highlights of this heartfelt, uplifting program include Adolphus Hailstork’s Seven Songs of the Rubaiyat, Carlos Cordero’s Garden, Founding Artistic Director Joseph Gregorio’s sublime Maid of Culmore, and American traditional favorites from The Sacred Harp, among other unaccompanied choral gems from throughout the organization’s history.
